El primer reto de este proyecto consiste en encontrar el correcto emplazamiento de la casa dentro de un terreno extenso donde se pudiera aprovechar al máximo del mismo en cuestión de vistas, topografía y accesos.
La casa se diseña a partir de un esquema central basado en un patio ajardinado con una hoguera como elemento principal. Este jardín trata de generar un equilibrio entre lo construido y la huella natural del terreno, donde el impacto de construcción se ve reducido a sólo lo necesario.
A partir de este centro, la casa se divide en cuatro volúmenes, el volumen norte alberga el área de estacionamiento, el volumen poniente el de servicio, el volumen oriente corresponde al área de visitas, family y estudio; y finalmente el volumen sur es donde encontramos la sala, comedor y recámaras principales.
Debido al clima de la zona, todos los techos se diseñan en doble agua formados con armaduras triangulares de madera y teja de barro en su superficie exterior. El diseño de las armaduras se concibe siguiendo un módulo entre ventanas, columnas y cúspides.
The first challenge of this project is to find the correct location of the house within a fairly large area where it could make the most of it in terms of views, topography and access.
The house itself is designed based on a central scheme created by a landscaped courtyard with a fire pit as the main element. This garden generates a balance between the built and the natural footprint of the site, where the iconstruction impact is reduced to only what is necessary.
From this center, the house is divided into four volumes, the northern volume houses the parking area, the west volume contains the service, the east volume is dedicated to the area of visits, family and study rooms; and finally in the southern volume is where we find the living room, dining room and main bedrooms.
Due to the area weather, all the roofs are designed under the principle of gable roof formed with triangular wooden trusses and clay tile on its outer surface. The design of the reinforcements is conceived following a module between windows, columns and apex.
